Active Inventory: Depth and Breadth
Greenwich has extraordinary depth of pricing. Thanks to an array of inventory, Greenwich is a community you can call home for years to come, as one’s priorities and budgets change. Unlike some other communities in the NYC Metro area, there is a wide spectrum of small and large parcels, including those with views and those with convenience. There is no cliff in pricing but rather a continuum.
Neighborhoods within Greenwich are defined by transportation arteries, characterized by topography or restricted by zoning rules and regulations. Sections are defined by various attributes, with some sections much larger than others, and some sections home to many more lots than others. Multiple sections serve a wide range of budgets, and no section has a monopoly on the most glamorous homes.
Purchasers should take time to look at inventory in multiple sections. It’s surprising to many how beautiful Greenwich is and how many options there are, with many ending up in neighborhoods they had not originally targeted.
Sotheby’s International Realty Depth and Breadth
I was in California recently and was able to stop in and visit some key players and agents at our affiliate Gates Estates in Yountville, CA. I was also able to get some work done in their lovely office. Pictured with me (that’s me on the right) are Cyndi Gates, broker owner, and Lisa Bertolucci, Office Manager. I continue to value the access and professionalism of our Sotheby’s International Realty team and the excellent service and network we are able to offer our clients.
Give me a ring next time you are planning a trip to explore possible retreats of your own, wherever that might be, and I’ll connect you with the best in the market.
I will be hosting an open house at 150 Riverside Avenue in Riverside, CT tomorrow from 2:00 to 4:00PM. I happen to love high ceilings! Come see for yourself.
