At the start of each school year I write a weekly touching on highlights for prospective buyers. The most sweeping change this year is the later school start times. Greenwich High School now starts at 8:30AM and dismisses at 3:15PM. Western, Central and Eastern Middle Schools start at 8:00AM and end at 2:50PM. Elementary Schools start between 8:15AM and 8:45AM as notes on the Greenwich Public School System website under Bell Time for Greenwich School District.
Looking at residential sales by elementary school, homes in the Julian Curtis elementary school district constituted 18% of sales in the trailing twelve months, followed by Glenville (14.8%) and North Street (14.2%). The Parkway Elementary School district was home to the highest average sales price of $3.1 million according to the Greenwich MLS.
Total District school population is 8,970 students. Greenwich High School has 2,640 students. Western and Central Middle Schools each have approximately 560 students, and Eastern Middle School is clearly the largest middle school with 849 students. The elementary schools average 362 students. Parkway School is a standout with only 223 students.

Open Houses
The Open House Season continue with 119 open houses on Sunday. Traffic was heavier than expected last week. Guests are required to sign in and follow instructions. Photographs are not permitted and surveillance should be expected.
