Greenwich, CT is home to 62,695 people and the Greenwich population has increased 2.5% since 2010, according to the US Census Bureau July 2015 report. The age distribution in Greenwich is similar to the national average with 6.1% under 5 years old, 26.7% under 18 years old and 16.5% over 65. Females constitute 52.4% of the Greenwich population. Over 2,200 are veterans and a strong 21.9% are foreign born, with 27.7% speaking a language other than English at home. Greenwich is a highly educated town with a full 66.4% having a bachelor degree or higher as compared to 29.3% nationally. Of those people over 16 years old, 62.5% are in the civilian labor force. 51.5% of women who live in Greenwich are also a part of the labor force.

Enjoy your friends and neighbors at a Fireworks Display in Greenwich! The Town of Greenwich will sponsor a fireworks display on July 2nd at dusk at Greenwich Point and Binney Park in Old Greenwich. Greenwich Point will be closed at 8:30PM or when the maximum number of cars for available parking is reached. Rain date, July 3rd. Enjoy!
