Within Greater Greenwich there are 569 houses on the market for sale. Of those, 463 are single family homes, 89 are condominiums and 17 are cooperatives. Sunday there are 28 Open Houses, with fewer showings this week given the long President’s Day Weekend, public school winter break, Valentine’s Day Sunday and expectations of bitter weather. Twelve homes closed within the most recent seven days, all under $4 million and most under $2 million. Eleven of them were single family homes and eight had been on the market over 165 days. If you are looking for land in order to build your dream home, there are 73 parcels listed for sale within Greater Greenwich. Land listings include both open land and homes in need of considerable renovation or demolition. Land listings range from $365,000 to over $18 million for water front properties. The listings are fairly well dispersed throughout town. Within the last year, 37 land listings sold, many of which had existing homes.
